Like april, I remember Bill and Sue as active partiicpants in Des Moines 
Chapter activites back in the 1980's.  My wife at the time and I 
socialized quite a bit with Bill and Sue, dinners out at least once a 
week, etc.

They organized the 50 50 drawing at our chapter meetings, and as April 
noted, called folks to remind them of the upcoming chapter meeting.  Bill 
was also a  help in dealing with our legislators on important issues.  HE 
could always be depended upon to help formulate a letter to a government 
official, etc.

Last time I saw her was at our state convention in Coralville a few years 
ago.
