Could other items besides food be included because what if I wanted to donate my Bose speakers to the cause?

 Good Evening All,

This year we will be holding a bake auction during State Convention. We will spread the auction throughout the session similar to how door prize drawings are conducted. Won’t it be fun to purchase a tasty treat to both support our organization and keep our stomachs happy at the same time?

Now is the time to start thinking about what you might like to contribute to our auction. It could be a batch of your favorite cookies, a cake, a pie, that special dessert you’re famous for, or pretty much anything that you think others would enjoy eating that doesn’t need to be kept really cold (sadly ice cream cake probably isn’t a good choice). We could even stretch the term bake to include other homemade yumminess like apple butter, pickled beets, or whatever else we like to make and eat in Iowa.

I will be coordinating the auction, as we don’t want to have ten pans of brownies after all, so please reach out to me off list at the contact information below with what you would like to bring. If we get too many people wanting to bring the same item, it’ll be first come, first served. Otherwise, we’re pretty flexible.

Thanks for all your help baking and eating :)
