[Tall-Corn] Birth Announcement

Good afternoon NFBI,

Enrique Donald Mejia was born at 5:42 PM Monday December 2 2024 weighing 7 pounds 3 ounces and measuring 20.5 inches long. He is doing well, and still intends to meet members of the Des Moines chapter at the Christmas party.

I’ve had things a bit more difficult, but am doing better and we are hopefully going to get to leave the hospital tomorrow. I want to thank everyone who’s ever donated blood or anything else important like that, as the blood I got from some random stranger made a difference for me this week.

I appreciate everyone who has reached out to me over the past week. I’ve gotten a lot of texts, and I am sorry for not responding to anyone. The support of my NFB family means a lot! Now that I'm starting to have a little energy, I will hopefully be getting back to people within the next few days.
