Hello Federation family!

I’m excited to kick off a new Facebook fundraiser to support the National Federation of the Blind of Iowa (NFBI) and continue our movement. 

Here’s where you come in:
	•	Share your story—why you care about this movement and why supporting NFBI matters to you.
	•	Start your own Facebook fundraiser (I’ll guide you through it below!) and share it with your friends and family, and the public for wider reach. 

How to Get Started:
	1.	Begin a new post on your Facebook profile.
	2.	Look for the “Raise Money” option at the bottom of the edit menu.
	3.	Search for “National Federation of the Blind of Iowa” (choose the one based in Urbandale, Iowa).
	4.	Add a personal message: Why are you passionate about this cause? How has the Federation made a difference for you or others?
	5.	Share it with your followers!

Pro Tips for Success:
	•	Post regular updates to keep people engaged.
	•	Thank your supporters as donations come in!
	•	Remind everyone that every dollar counts and the deadline is approaching.
	•	Add a video, photos, or personal touches to make your fundraiser stand out.
