Hi Bob,

Was thinking about trying to organize transport from here and offering rides
to anyone inalong possible routes between southeast Iowa and Des Moines who
might hjave wanted to attend.  Would have tried to figure out logistics and
reimbursement for expenses of driver had that worked out, but then I was
reminded by my phone calendar that I have dentist's appointment that
morning.

While visiting with the Ia. sec state people please bring up the issue of
Automark ballots being different size than regular ballots.  Would sure be
nice if we could get automark or similar technology to mark a standard sized
ballot so that those of us who vote at our polling place submit a ballot
indistinguishable from all others.
