[Tall-Corn] Remembering a long time Federationist

Greetings, 

Don Shepherd Sent the below information to us. 

 

Pat Shepherd, my ex-wife, and former chapter member died Sunday at
Perry Lutheran Home. We will suggest donations to NFB with her
obit. It will be a private funeral.

 

Pat was a staff member of the Iowa  Commission For The Blind in
the seventies where she met Don who was teaching over in
Davenport. They were involved in the Federation at the state level
for a few years before they moved to Des Moines in the eighties
and joined the Des Moines Chapter. Pat remained active in the
chapter until she was moved to the care facility in Perry many
years ago. 

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Don and his daughter's family
for their loss.
