Of Des Moines, Iowa

Kasey Matthew Walker, age 51, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Mercy Medical Center. He was born the son of Clyde and Sandra Walker on August 23, 1973, in Des Moines, Iowa.

Kasey worked for Mercy as an Environmental Service Technician for over 20 years. Kasey was a cherished friend to many, he consistently put others before himself. He was a wonderful husband and father, who found joy in baking cakes, fishing, learning about outer space, and caring for his two beloved cats who held a special place in his heart. Kasey will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife Rosa Walker, step-son Nathan Miller and his wife Sally and Brian Bonnecarrere, step-grandson Becket Miller, siblings Steve Walker and his wife Jennifer and Kris Walker, Nieces Shannon Lewis and her husband Marty and Riley Walker.

Kasey was preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Sandra Walker, and his father-in-law Gary Collette.
