[Tall-Corn] Upcoming Protest September 16

Who: Anyone who cares about the quality of services available to blind Iowans.
What: A protest to stand in opposition to current administrative wrongdoings by the director of the Iowa Department for the blind and express discontent with uninformed decisions.
When: Tuesday, September 16 from 10:00 to 11:30 AM.
Where: Outside the Iowa Department for the Blind building: 524 4th St., Des Moines IA 50309
Why:
The Iowa Department for the Blind needs leadership that understands and responds to the needs of blind Iowans. 
Iowa deserves a Director who respects the history, legacy, and policy-making authority of the Iowa Commission for the Blind.
The Iowa Department for the Blind requires transparent leadership that works with the staff, clients and stakeholders rather than imposing their own agenda.
Iowa must maintain a structured discovery training center.
