Good Afternoon Federation Family:

During the January presidential release, President Riccobono reminded all of
us to make sure our member information is up-to-date in our member profiles.
Here are some instructions on how to make that happen, based on what he said
in the release and on my own testing of the process. Please save this
information as it will be most helpful, particularly if you need to reset
your password or make any other changes!

First. Go to

www.Nfb.org <http://www.Nfb.org>

Next, click on the members link and it should take you to the member profile
section of the site.

You should then be able to enter the email address the organization has on
file and enter your password if you remember or have access to it. If not,
there is a reset link, and, after filling out the information requested, the
system will send an automated email with a link to reset your password.
Please note, it will not send a temporary password.

Once you click the link, it will ask you to create a new password and
confirm it. Once you've done that, I would not use the login link the site
gives you as it takes you to a different page than what you actually need.

To access your profile, go back to the NFB homepage, click on members again,
and enter your login credentials. This will take you to your profile where
you can check the information on file and make changes as needed. This would
be particularly helpful if you need to make changes to your email address,
mailing address, or media preference for things such as the Braille Monitor.

A couple of quick notes:

First, if you have `forgotten what email address is on file, but you do
receive the NFBnet members list emails, it is likely that one. If that
doesn't work, please contact your chapter president or President Mejia and
they can assist you in getting the information from the member management
module. If that doesn't work, or if there are multiple email addresses,
President Riccobono advised to email membership at nfb.org
<mailto:membership at nfb.org> to resolve this.

If there are those without email, their information will need to be updated
with the national organization directly, and that information is in the
presidential release. They can also contact the main number and be directed
to the membership coordinator.

I hope this helps all of us work to keep our membership data as updated as
possible. In the meantime, let's go build the National Federation of the
Blind of Iowa!
