[Tall-Corn] Reminder for Legislative meeting

Everyone: If you are able to join us for our advocacy day on the 21st, please let Bob know as soon as possible. The DD council is providing lunch, so they will need to know how many people are coming. We would like to have as many people as possible. Thank you to everyone who has already told Bob you are coming.

As a reminder, if you need help with transportation to the event, we can help both with finding drivers and paying for them. We received a grant specifically to pay for transportation, and I would hate to see us not use it. The more people we can have present, the stronger of an impression we can make.

I look forward to seeing everyone virtually tomorrow night and in person on the 21st.

Greetings, The second Legislative meeting of the year for the NFBI will be this Tuesday, January 14 at 7:00 pm. This meeting will revolve around the Legislative Day we have scheduled for January 21, the major legislation that we are working on again this year, and other legislative at the state level. Our Legislative Day with the Iowa development Disability Council will be the 21st of January and we will review what we what to see happen at that meeting. We will also review the accessible prescription bill and the mobile voting bill that we are working on in addition to watching any legislative proposals dealing with the Iowa Department For The blind and the education of blind youth in our state. 
 
We need to remind everyone that is helpful for you to get the information about who legislative representative and senator are since when we talk to these people they need to know we have people  who are constituents of theirs. In the next few days will we sending a sample letter to the list that will show a way to let your legislative people know who you are and possible people that may come to see them on your behalf.
 
When you attend one of our monthly meetings we will give you the up-to-date information on what is happening and it also gives you the opportunity to let us know about legislative contacts that you have made. 
 
Below are the different ways you may join us on Tuesday evening for this meeting.
