I am sorry that I did not get to know Tom well, although I started school with his brother, Randy, who departed this world a few years ago. However, hearing him talk about his deer hunting experience and hearing his joyful, can-do spirit was definitely impressive! Tom loved living life in this world, cherishing it as a treasure and living it to the fullest. I'm sure he's continuing to live it the same way with our Lord and all his family and friends that are there to welcome him. Nevertheless, a life like Tom's leaves a big hole in the lives of all who knew and loved him. My heart goes out to Lin, to Tom and Lin's families, to April, Jim and their family and to all of Tom's many friends. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
