[Tall-Corn] Legislative Gathering for May 2025

Greetings, Remember, this Tuesday, May 13 is the next meeting of
the NFBI Legislative Gathering on ZOOM at 7:00 pm. The Iowa
Legislature is winning down so this gathering will be the last of
these for a few months until there is need to start discussions
for next year's Legislature. 

 

Come join us and make your suggestions on how we may best move
forward. Also, don't forget, now is the time to start paying
attention to all of those running for office next year. If you see
a candidate for office at any level, in the case of next year that
would be all State Representatives, Half of the Iowa Senate, all
of the elected State executives including Governor, Secretary of
State, Treasurer, Auditor,  Attorney General etc. Find ways to
publicly support candidates that you like they all need
volunteers. Get to know those who are currently serving you and
invite them to your chapter meetings or social events. Let them
know that you are there. Many of us do some of this and most of us
don't do enough of it. Get your elected officials to know you and
know the blind of Iowa. 

 

We hope that several of you will join us this Tuesday evening at
7:00 to discuss where we are and where we go from here.
