[Tall-Corn] Tall-Corn] New kidney for Bitrus Gwamna

This afternoon I received an unexpected call from Bitrus Gwamna of our Southeast Iowa Chapter.  He didn’t tell me when he was to get back to home in Mount Pleasant, but he’s recuperating at the hospital in Iowa City.  On Monday he had what seems to be a successful kidney transplant.  His doctor said he got a “one in a thousand” organ.  Anyway, Bitrus is already feeling healthier, and free of dialysis for the first time in 11 years.  Watch out, world.  Here comes Bitrus!
