Thank you for sending out the note and extending your good wishes. I hope
to serve NFBI and all blind Iowans well.

An early outcome of my appointment is that I have stepped down from the
board of the Friends of The Iowa Library for the Blind and Physically
Handicapped to avoid a potential conflict of interest. This means that
someone with a love of our library who would like to help support it now
has an opportunity to serve on the Friends board. If this is you, contact
