I was so sorry to hear about Bob's passing. We felt honored to have Bob at our banquet party at Enderton Acres last summer. It was a fun group and we had a great time. I always remembered Bob's birthday as it falls two days before my son Richard's birthday. I thought Richie would be born March 9th because I was having contractions that morning, but he decided to wait it out a few days. Bob's thoughtful, measured way of speaking will be greatly missed. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time, Cindy. You are not alone. We all care about you very much.
Sincerely,
April

While I haven't known Bob nearly as long as many of you have, when I was privileged to get to talk to him, he made me feel as if he had known me all his life. His combination of humor, legislative knowledge and political wisdom put me at ease, even with the most ignorant questions or concerns I might have raised. I always felt honored and privileged when I got a chance to talk to him. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Cindy and with the family and with all whose lives Bob has touched, helped and influenced. May God's comfort and peace be with you, Cindy and with us all.
Sincerely,
Julie McCullough

I am very sorry to hear this sad news. I have known Bob since the 60s. He
was an Iowa treasure to be sure. We will all miss him very much. Prayers
for Bob and Cindy and their family.
