Good evening, all,
I hope this message finds you well. 😊
As our small-but-mighty team readies to travel East for the 2026 Washington Seminar, I wanted to be sure and share this year’s priorities with you all in the hopes that you will consider reaching out to your respective Congressional Representative and Senators, encouraging them to support.
This year, our team will be presenting on the following:
Protect Critical Education, Employment, and Independent Living Programs | National Federation of the Blind <https://nfb.org/programs-services/advocacy/legislative-priorities/protect-critical-education-employment-and>
Access Technology Affordability Act (H.R. 1529/S. 1918) | National Federation of the Blind <https://nfb.org/programs-services/advocacy/legislative-priorities/access-technology-affordability-act>
Blind Americans Return to Work Act <https://nfb.org/programs-services/advocacy/legislative-priorities/blind-americans-return-work-act> (H.R. 1175) | National Federation of the Blind
Remember that your voice matters, whether or not you are traveling to Washington D.C. or not. If you’d like assistance in contacting your Congressional Representative or Senators, please feel free to reach out to me directly, and I’ll be more than happy to support you in whatever way(s) that I can.
Respectfully,
Elizabeth | Legislative Director
