I am the Door Prize Coordinator for the 2026 state convention. Attached is the door prize letter. You may use this letter at restaurants, and stores to ask for door prizes for our state convention. Please let me know if you are bringing or mailing a door prize so I can have a rough count. If you have questions, please feel free to contact me off list at my information listed below.

The National Federation of the Blind of Iowa is seeking your support in the area of door prizes for our 2026 State convention.
The National Federation of the Blind of Iowa is a community of members and friends who believe in the hopes and dreams of the nation’s blind. Every day we work together to help blind people live the lives they want. Our convention will take place on October 09-11 at the Holiday Inn and Suites Des Moines Northwest in Urbandale, Iowa and it promises to be a weekend full of rejuvenating information!
• You can bring door prizes to convention this year!
• If a check is made out to go towards door prizes, this should be noted clearly on the check and mailed to the NFBI affiliate’s P.O. Box.
• If gift cards are donated, they can be shipped to the affiliate P.O. Box or brought to convention.
