[Tall-Corn] HF 2585 Passed the Committee

Good afternoon,

Thanks to everyone who made phone calls, wrote letters, and/or showed up on Zoom, and thanks especially to Cindy for going in person today. Our bill passed both the subcommittee and full committee this morning. This means that we are safe from the funnel.

Our next step is for everyone to contact your Senator urging support for the bill. Please try to get any friends and family you can to do so as well. We need the Senators to know that this bill is important to their constituents.

We will be having a special legislative committee meeting on the 24th where we will discuss other steps we can take. The only two hurdles we have left are getting the full Senate to pass the bill, and then getting the Governor to sign it.
