The meetings vary in length, depending on things like how many people sign up for content and how much discussion the commissioners have. This meeting has more on the agenda than typical, so it wouldn’t surprise me if it goes two hours, but that’s entirely a guess. If someone can’t stay for the whole meeting, there is still merit to showing up.

Note also that they are planning a less formal work session after the meeting. They talked about starting this at the last meeting, and it’ll be interesting to see what it’s like.

Informal Workshop Session

The Commission will meet informally with staff from the Iowa Department for the Blind, Tuesday, September 8th, in person and via zoom, after the conclusion of the quarterly meeting.
