Good Evening Federationists:
First, thank you for the NFB Newsline reports. In the future, please get in touch with me as the affiliate's Newsline coordinator using the information in my signature. Calls or texts will get you the quickest response, even if you have to leave a voicemail. Otherwise, I'm most likely not aware there is an issue unless the Newsline team has put something out to the coordinators, which they didn't in this case, or I have to find out on lists like this.
Second, there is now a message posted in the Des Moines Register's section of Newsline, and I suspect other publications that are affected, that there is an issue and it is being worked on. I suspect it's somewhere in the data feeds from the content providers, but I have no way to look at that part of the system. Rest assured it is being looked into and I will provide an update when I have more information. We appreciate your patience as I know the Newsline team is working diligently to get content restored in a timely manner. Please reach out privately to me if there are any questions. As a reminder, the reply feature goes directly to all on the listserv, so if you have something for my attention, please use the email address in my signature. Thank you for your attention, and let's go build the Federation!

Hi Federation Family,

I'm having the same problem here in Kansas. I haven't looked today yet, but yesterday,I resorted to the Audio Reader. In yesterday's paper, I found a couple of articles that prompted me to write something for my City Council's Public Comment next month. Perhaps this lack of updating is happening all over the country. I hope not, but wherever it's happening, it needs to be fixed. Thanks for sharing about it. I thought that perhaps it was just happening here in Kansas.

Greetings folks,
Yes, have alerted the support folks, as had Scott, and yes Cindy, have been in touch with him.
The news section has been missing for a couple of weeks even before I note. The News online section is often just a headline and no substance to the accompany article until it actually shows up in the news section, usually the next day.
And then there's the one that shows up at least once a month there which asks "do you know where in Perry this photo was taken?"
Like anybody reading Newsline would know, and most probably wouldn't care.
Glad to know somebody else at least pays attention to it as well as myself.
This old curmudgeon often wonders if anybody pays attention to anything that isn't social media garbage or so-called infotainment.
Regards,
Richard
