Melanie Cummings, who was currently living in Lima, Ohio, passed away this morning, November 26, as a result of Covid. She was too young with a too-short life. She was deeply faith filled and giving. For a number of years she drove for and worked for a number of blind people. She worked for several years for Michael Barber both as a driver and helping organize conventions and other Federation Activities.
Her in-laws, Jackie and Dewey Cummings formerly were employed with the Iowa Department for the Blind. Her husband, Jim, worked at the department and still does. After Dewey was left alone, Melanie moved to Ohio to help him manage. She was always one to think of others.
Melanie will be missed by all of us who even just barely knew her.

Cindy Lou
Sent from my iPad
