We checked in today since we are planning to visit my granddaughter in Clear Lake tomorrow before convention. We thought that they gave us a nice quiet, good room, number 228, after we settled and put everything away and went to bed, I woke up around 12:30 AM to use the bathroom and when I was there, the room above me we’re also using their bathroom, and after they flushed the toilet, I was still washing my hands to see water coming from the ceiling all over our toilets, shelf, floor stuff, dirty water. To make the story short, I dried everything and I can tell it’s all stinky, I called front desk, he was rude, telling me that he does not have any maintenance and cannot bother the people above me and all what he can offer me another room, my husband, Michael was already sleeping. anyhow, he kept talking over me and repeating and not giving me any chance to express my feelings. I hang up the phone then I woke up Michael and we decided we have to move. I called him back and again he just kept going on and on and on and after he stopped, I told him that we are going to move, but I want him to guarantee a better room and we will not be facing with the same issue, at first, he said, I cannot guarantee you a better room or what I can give you a different room. I couldn’t believe what he is saying, I told him that I need to talk to the manager and finally he said I will go and check it myself and bring you the key. 20 minutes later, he was at our door knocking and handed Michael the key with the room number which is all the way down the hall from our room, but he checked it and he said it’s good and ran away. He seems very overwhelmed and stressed out as much as we were. we went down and checked it to make sure it does not look like there are any evidence of water leaks, and the toilet is working since the toilet was not working well in room 228 and we were going to talk with them about it in the morning. Anyhow, we moved everything and cleaned up and just now I am going to bed. So please everyone check your rooms for water issues before staying in them, it seems that they have this problem here and they know about it someway. Stay away from room to 28 please. I will never stay again in this hotel, I am sorry. I had a very bad experience with the front desk tonight. I’m sorry to give you these awful news, I hope your room and your stay will be much better than ours.
