ICUB member Roger Eggerss fell in August 2025 and badly broke his ankle. At
this time of medical treatment, it was discovered that he had a bladder tumor
which was benign and surgery went well. He was still immobile due to the badly
broken ankle. His mother died in September, while he was still unable to walk. The
doctors then found a tumor on his spine. They did some radiation treatment on
it but discovered treatment was not working likely due to it not being
discovered soon enough. He is in a wheelchair and they are using a Hoyer lift
for him in the nursing home. His cancer has spread to his bones and he has a
lot of pain. The nursing home folks are suggesting Hospice to help with pain
and some of his care. He would likely love to hear from you all, according to
his sister Kimberli Buck. He reads Braille but loves talking on the phone as well. She also gave permission to share this information, knowing
that many of you know and care about Roger. He loves to talk on the phone and
has a Jitterbug but he doesn\u2019t take it to meals with him. Here are the
times when he is likely <u>un</u>available. </span></p>

7 \u2013 9 AM, 11 \u2013 1 PM, 5 \u2013 7 PM. He would welcome the opportunity to talk with
