[Trainer-talk] A Stream Question

Hi Jim,

If they're audible books, then copy another audible book on to the
stream, causing it to prompt your student for her audible user name and
password. This should get the Audible books working again (assuming the
problems you had were with Audible books).

Subject: [Trainer-talk] A Stream Question

Hi there,

I figured someone on one of these lists woulde have an answer for me.

I updated one of my students' Victor Streams this morning. She has
three
keys (Audible.com, NLS, and RFB). On her card, she had eight books in
her
$dtb folder, and she was reading one before the update. I believe these
books are audible.com books, but I'm not positive right now. Anyway,
when
she tried resuming reading her book after the update, the stream gave
her
the following message, "Player not activated." It said this three
times.
Then, when going through the folder of books, it no longer listed eight
books as before, but it listed only five. I tried reupdating it,
thinking I
may have done something to the stream. It happened again. I checked
the SD
card on the computer, and all of the books showed up as usual.

Does anyone have any helpful hints here? Why would it go from working
to
not working from a simple update?

Oh, and it does play the five listed books, but it won't list or play
the
other three.and she's in the middle of one of those three.

Thanks again.

Jim
