You could have her do the go to command while in the calendar in day view,
ctrl + G. Then she can type in the date that she wants to put the
appointment on. That way she is already on that date when she enters the
appointment.

Subject: [Trainer-talk] Question on Outlook Calendar

Hello,

I have a question regarding the Outlook Calendar.

I have a student using Outlook 2007, and she wanted to know the following.
If she's using the calendar, she wants to know how to enter appointments
that are in the future.for example, two weeks from Thursday or a month from
Saturday. She wants to know if there is another way of entering dates
without typing them in manually. For the time, one could arrow down in half
hour increments, or type in the exact time.

So, if anyone knows of ways for the dates, let me know.

Jim
