Hi Terrence:

QuickBooks is NOT accessible to any screenreader.

Have your client give Peachtree Accounting a trial run. I've been able to
use it reasonably well with Window-Eyes even without scripts or set files.

Get a trial copy from:

www.peachtree.com

Peachtree is now owned by Sage.

Another software to take a hard look at is Cash Manager from Accomplish
Global; this software is reportedly accessible for use with a screenreader.
It is developed in New Zealand and the U.S. version was recently launched.
Grab a demo copy from:

http://us.accomplishglobal.com/

A good contact at Accomplish Global is Ms. Raewyn Whisker; email her at:

raewyn.whisker at accomplishglobal.com

Some additional information about access to this software by a visually
impaired individual can be had here:

http://us.accomplishglobal.com/resources/vision-impaired.html

I hope this is somewhat helpful. Take care and all the best.

Sincerely,
Olusegun
Denver, Colorado
