Hi All,

A disability coordinator at a college her in SC asked me the below question. Can you help her out?

Do you have any suggestions or a reference tool for teaching math to blind students?

February is Age Related Macular Degeneration (ARMD) Month. ARMD is the leading cause of blindness in America for those aged 50 and over. Risk factors for this disease include: smoking, obesity, race, family history and gender. The South Carolina Commission for the Blind stresses the importance of receiving a comprehensive eye exam that includes visual acuity tests, a dilated eye exam and a tonometry test for individuals over the age of 50.
