Hi not sure if anyone can help with this one but I thought I'd try here. I have a client that is having issues saving attachments. A google queery turned up things about the permisions on the temporary attachments folder. A microsoft article suggest changing the default temp to a new folder you create on the main drive. This did not fix the problem. However we noticed that he could copy the file from the attachments list and paste to a folder without a hitch. So we didn't figure it out but we did find a work around.
Now the real strange one that has baffled me and has not returned any valid results on google is this. When he creates a new message and tries to insert an attachment. He goes to the insert tab and presses spacebar on the file attach button and it kicks him back in to his message and doesn't pull up an open file dialog box. The button is not unavailable or grayed-out but if he enters or hits spacebar nothing happens except it puts him back in the message.
I've also tried routing the mouse pointer and doing a left click but no go. We even tried it with jfw and same problem exists.
The only thing I know he changed in outlook was to read messages as plain text instead of html in the trust center options.
Any thoughts or suggestions on this one?
Thanks in advance for your help
bb.
