And for what it's worth, I'm selling a barely-used Braille Pen for $800 or
best offer. It's a great little unit, but I want more cells.

Write if potentially interested.

I use the Braille Pen 12 a lot and it serves me well. The braille is very
crisp. The joy stick makes navigation a snap. I know Larry Lewis of
Flying-Blind, LLC cells them as well as Earle Harrison of Triumph
Technologies.

Hi Sarah,

It is very possible to do many tasks on your iPhone, but as it pertains to
braille displays, the only displays that work with iDevices are bluetooth.
As I recall, the Pacmate displays are not, but are USB only, instead. If
you had a different display, you could connect to your phone, but without
bluetooth displays, you would be better off continuing to use your computer
or even your pacmate for documents if braille is your prefered method of
reading and writing.

If, however, you would like to try to sell your pacmate and obtain a
bluetooth display, the Braille Pen 12 is very small and only around $1000.

I completely understand if something like this is out of your financial
scope, but thought I would mention it as a technical possibility.

Please feel free to ask me on or off list any further questions you may have
about this particular topic. I'm happy to be of assistance when and where I
can.

Yours,

Amber H
