[Trainer-talk] Information about requirements for becoming a technology trainer

Hello all. My name is Matthew. I'm new to this list and look forward to
gaining valuable information from the list members. I'm very interested in
becoming an adaptive technology trainer for the state of Texas. If anyone
would be able to provide me some information on how to go about this, I
would greatly appreciate it. Some information I'm seeking includes some
strategies for marketing oneself, getting their name out to the blind and
visually impaired community, do most contract trainers have to hire their
own drivers or are they reimbursed by the state, how can one go about
getting ensurance, etc. Any information which could be provided would be
greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
