[Trainer-talk] Creating a new Folder in Windows 7

Currently, nothing seems to be working; including the Control+Shift+N hot key.  I've been doing a lot of research and am finding that this is a common issue with Windows 7.  When I work with the client today, I will try some suggestions I ran across on the Microsoft site.  I'll start by running the System File Checker tool and if that doesn't work, I'll re-install the New Folder registry key.  Hopefully, that'll solve the problem.  I'll post my results tomorrow.

Hi, Tonia. One thing that's coming to mind for me is whether you've got anything focused in the folder when you try to bring up the New options. If you've got a file or folder focused and hit the Applications Key, fewer options are available.

You may want to use the Windows 7 shortcut key combination control+shift+N. 

Love this key combination wish the shortcut was available in earlier versions of Windows.
