Just an update...I ended up going with the VIP and got it at Maxi Aid but I
did call Speak to Me mag also. Both were close in price and both had 2
different ones. One for a heat pump and the other. I found 3 others but
they did not give as much verbal feedback. I got it in 2 days. I wont hook
it up for a bit but fingers crossed.

Interesting.. Which model of the VIP talking thermostat do you have?
There apparently is 3 models 1007, 2007, and 3000. The 1007 seems to not be
sold any more.
Looking at their website I saw they had a homesitter model as well and was
wondering if anyone has experience with this model? and would they recommend
using that one?

VIP 2007	$169.50
VIP 3000	$215.00
HomeSitter	$110.00

I've had the VIP talking Thermostat for years, and I love it. Everything can
be done through talking menus.
www.talkingthermostats.com
You can talk to them and they are very nice to deal with on the phone.
Ordering can be done online also.

Hello,

Does anyone have experience or recommendations for a talking thermostat for
a JAWS user? She has zero sight and needs to control the heat and air
conditioning.

Thanks in advance.
