[Trainer-talk] technology questions

I have to agree with part of the previous reply. I do think that you
can get much of the functionality with a laptop that you can with a
notetaker. However, I do not think that notetakers are
under-functioning. There are those that need or want notetakers since
they are often easier for some to learn than the usual mainstream
tech. I do think that you can get a laptop and iOS device for much
less than a notetaker. But you will ned a laptop or some sort of
Windows/Mac computer to complement your iOS device. It is true that
note taking on iOS is very lacking for the blind. There will be times
that you will want to edit and read Word documents though and this is
something that very few, if any, iOS aps can do accessibly. iOS is
great, don't get me wrong, but it hasn't quite made the leap from a
great organizational tool to being able to be used in the office quite
yet.
