Hi, Sarah.

I also use a Kindle Keyboard.  I have not used a Kindle Fire but I can 
tell you that Amazon has improved the accessibility, although from 
everything I'm reading it sounds like the software could still benefit 
from some improvements.  I'll give you some links that you could visit 
to get more information from the point of view of a blind user.

I am of the understanding that the iOS app is quite accessible.  While I have no direct experience with this app at this time, I'll be getting an iPhone 5C in a few weeks and this is one of the first apps I plan to install.
