Trainers,
I have a student who uses the Windows High Contrast Windows Black setting
on his computer. There are a couple anomolies that I don't understand, and
wonder if anyone can explain them. He also uses ZoomText, and these
problems don't show up if he uses the inverse with ZoomText instead of
through Windows (which is the best answer to the questions.) However, I
will ask:
The first issue is using Gmail: When in the high contrast settings,
several of the buttons don't show up, such as Select, Refresh, Newer and
Older. If he hovers with a mouse, it will then pop up the name of the
button.
The second, even weirder issue is when he opens a Word attachment: The
document shows up in the regular contrast, not in reverse contrast. Of
course, if he is using ZoomText in the inverse setting, this problem
doesn't exist.
Thank you in advance for any explanations!
Jan Brandt
