A problem which can come up in Outlook that may interfere with your normal
navigation is the
remnants of an old feature showing up unexpectedly. If you hear references
to "WunderBar", this was
once the working name for the Outlook navigation pane during the Office 2003
beta. You can eliminate
this problem by doing the following:

  1.. Close Outlook.
2.. Press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC, then press CTRL+TAB to move to the Processes
Page. Ensure that
Outlook.exe is not running in the Processes list. If it is, select End Task.
3.. Once Outlook is no longer running, press WINDOWS Key+R to open the Run
dialog box.
4.. Type outlook /resetnavpane and press ENTER.
This fix applies to Outlook 2003 as well as 2007.
