[Trainer-talk] From the guardian Liberty Voice/Apple/One Of the Biggest Leaders in Assistive Technology

I have to say this article, which I also just found via a LinkedIn 
connection, makes a statement many of us have already known but it's 
almost shocking to consider.  With all of the amazing assistive 
technology producers in our industry, and we have our share of them, 
this article concludes that Apple is one of the biggest.  It is 
mind-boggling to me that one of the largest mainstream computer 
companies on the planet is now recognized as one of the leaders in 
assistive technology.  Decades ago, mainstream companies did very little 
when it came to accommodating the needs of consumers with disabilities.  
You had no choice but to reach out to specialized companies to meet your 
needs.  Now, as I've mentioned in previous messages, this is all 
changing and more and more mainstream companies are now making these 
accommodations, some more so than others, and Apple is definitely a 
leader in this pack.
