J.J.-
Though ideal in the current world to use Narrator, it to me eliminates
needing to use sighted help unless you employee that person on a part time
bases and can provide a set amount of hours for that person.
I have set up pc's for people, and with Win7 and Win8, there is not a need
any longer as it was with Vista or XP to use sighted assistance.
Thoughts?

Subject: [Trainer-talk] Sighted Assistance for Computer Set-uP
Hello. I've had a couple of instances where it was necessary to get sighted
assistance to set-up a computer or fix errors, etc. Was wondering how others
in the field, especially those without other available sighted staff,
handled this situation? I've thought of posting on Craigslist for part-time
help though since this is an as-needed situation, it may be more difficult
to find a taker. Since I'm getting paid to solve the issue, I don't have a
problem with hiring someone to help out.
Looking forward to your thoughts.
