My outside conference goal is to tour the Midway aircraft carrier museum.
My wife and I are going at 1PM on Tuesday, and I have lined up a volunteer
docent to tag along and describe things. They have an audio tour that is
fully described, and it's only a couple blocks from the hotel. Tickets are
$20 apiece on the Midway museum site, and $28 for two at Costco.com.
On the accessible San Diego site which was linked from a Blindbargains.com
article about doing CSun on a budget, they mentioned an opportunity for free
tandem biking. They will deliver bikes near the hotel. There is a Survey
Monkey link that let's you specify availability.

Hello everyone!
Just wondering when those of you going to CSUN were going to be arriving and
all. It'd be great to meet some of you I don't know and to of course see
the friends and colleagues I do know. I'll be arriving on Sunday to attend
some pre-workshops. I'll definitely be available for meals, getting
together, and talking about this great convention we're all attending. I
find it always better and more fun to do this kind of conference with other
colleagues and friends like you. We'll have fun.
And, as some of us thought to do, I think we will try together as a group
for a breakfast one of these days so that we can talk shop and continue to
network.
I'll be available, so feel free to get a hold of me. It can be like a
mini-convention.
Jim
