[Trainer-Talk] What are you recommending for Braelin speak transition or's

If we're talking speech only, then probably IOS and a blutooth keyboard. IOS keyboard support is suppose to be improving with the next update. 
As far as note takers, I believe they still have their place, and the Hims line is, in my opinion, by far superior to the Humanware line, especially when it comes to software capabilities. The DropBox client alone makes them much more viable.
