Bonnie,
If your using a paid Google Apps
account this might help you out.
https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gappssync
If not you could see if CardDAV sync is
supported in Outlook. But you can always
just export from Gmail Contacts or
your old outlook on your old PC.
go to
http://contacts.google.com
Go to [More] button (center top of screen)
Go to Export
You'll get the option to export. See photo below.
The just go into Outlook an import.
Hope that helps. Similar functionality
is in your old outlook... If you'd rather
export from there.
If you all are paying for Google Apps you might have exchange support which would sync email, calendar, and contacts ...potentially.
Hope that helps,
David

Anyway, I have a Gmail account that I use outlook with and when I put outlook on the new computer, all the emails came, however, contacts did not. So, I'm assuming that there is some trick to getting them transferred over and I'd like to know if anyone knows just what it is. I found them on the Gmail account and I see that you can select them all and I assume copy them to the clip board but I'm wondering if that is the approach to take to get them into my outlook. I will continue to explore but any help with this would be so appreciated.
