[Trainer-Talk] Random Volume Change After Upgrading

I have a Dell Inspiron 1647 computer. A few months ago I upgraded from
Windows 7 Pro to Windows 10 Pro. I have Build 10586. I am using
Microsoft's RealTek High Definition Audio, and the driver number matches the
build on my computer. I use JAWS and NVDA, and Narrator occasionally on the
Start Menu.
Ever since the upgrade, the volume fluctuates randomly when I use a screen
reading program. If I am playing a podcast, or if I use a blue tooth
speaker, the problem doesn't occur. If I adjust the volume in the Volume
Mixer, the volume rises or falls randomly. For instance, if I arrow from
22% to 21%, the volume may rise.
Dell and Microsoft have both tried to resolve the problem over the phone.
They can't find anything wrong with my sound card or my system. Microsoft
had me perform a repair, which didn't resolve the problem. The only thing
left is to perform a complete Windows 10 reinstallation, with no guarantee
that this will fix the problem. Has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks for any suggestions you may have.
