[Trainer-Talk] Pen Friend two

This is what we did originally.  Copied all labels to her computer and saved
it in case of problems.  Then when she got second pen which was the first
model we just plugged in new pen and copied info to new pen.  No problems.
Then she got the third pen which was the pen friend two and did the same
steps and the pen is not reading correctly.

On the old Pen Friend, the recorded files are MP3's, connect the PenFriend
to your computer, copy that folder after you verified the files are their,
and copy it to your computer and then to the newer model, this might work.

Hello,
I have a client that was using the Pen Friend original.  She has well over
700 labels.  We have her info backed up on her computer.  She had to replace
it once already.  She recently had to replace it and they sent her the Pen
Friend two and she is having problems with the Pen not reading the existing
labels.  She was just going to record them again but that defeats the
purpose of backing up the labels on the computer.  I am going to call RNFB
on Monday to see if she can get the old model of the Pen Friend but I
thought I would see if there was a simple fix and she could keep the new
Pen.
