I was asked if there is an iOS app which is able to read contracted Braille files, such as the ones you download from BARD's Braille collection. I had heard of an app called Voice Dream Reader which can do this. The app is from Japan and is no longer available on the U.S. version of the app store. Doing a search online came up with another app called Braille Pad Pro, which hadn't been updated since 2015. Searching for it on my iPhone's app store came up empty, and so I'm guessing that this app is no longer compatible with later versions of iOS. For those who don't own a Braille display, is there an app to facilitate the reading of contracted Braille files without the need to use a Braille translator on a PC or Mac?
