Voice Dream Reader is an awesome app. You're right in that it doesn't support Braille files. I'd love to see an app that either translates them or one which can read them vocally without the need for a Braille display.

I am still finding voice dream reader in the App Store. I don’t know if that is because I own it. I have not tried using it to read a braille file.

I had heard of an app called Voice Dream Reader which can do this. The app is from Japan and is no longer available on the U.S. version of the app store.
