Hi, Ashley.

The only pieces of advice I can offer you (not that you asked for anyone's advice) <smile> is to just study the help topics covering the text analyzer and just play around with it, working with what you've learned. I guarantee you'll be an expert on it in no time.

Hi,
I agree the text analyzer of jaws is good. I do wish I knew more how to use it.
I sometimes volunteer train people in assistive tech.

It does. And also does a pretty nice job on the web as well. But it does
lack things like the text analyzer which are very important in my view. And
recently especially, Jaws seems to be a lot more responsive with web apps,
especially in Chrome.

Do you use braille? I have heard that NVDA does a very nice job with
proper ueb mark up for formatting such as bold and underline.

I will admit that NVDA has become my screen reader of choice and is what I
use, pretty much exclusively, at home. However, if I found myself needing
to type professional documents with very specific formatting requirements I
would likely use JAWS for this purpose because of its text analyzer feature.
