[Trainer-Talk] Longer "smart" Braille displays

I'm not so sure I'd be recommending HIMS products at this point without the following info. Though they are producing good hardware, I know that their technical support in North America has been lagging the past 2 years or so. I won't go on and on with specific examples, but the overall trend is that they do not always seem to follow up with Rma requests and that several people I've talked to recently say they have to contact HIMS more than once to get an RMA. Not the next day, mind you, but a week later. This comes from a couple of people involved with the NDBEDP that I am in contact with. As long as you never have a problem or require support, though, it could be a good fit. Certainly, the notetaking capabilities of the qBraille are much better than the Focus.

Hope this helps,
Scott
