Hello Sarah,
In my opinion, both Firefox and Chrome are very good browsers and both are fully accessible with JAWS. If you use Firefox, for instance, and the task you are trying to accomplish doesn't work or you are having an access / poor design issue, you can use Chrome to see if it is straightened there. 
That's the approach I take but either one of them, or both in combination work well. If you're that much into online privacy and hate tracking, Firefox might be suited for you since Mozilla is a nonprofit and Google, well, is Google. :) 
But that's for another topic. Just find out what works for you in a given situation.
