Dear Amy,

I can personally attest to both of your statements near the closing of your message. I am an experienced firsthand user of Canvas site for windows and both JAWS and NVDA. And yes, Canvas is fully accessible. You can tell by their blog posts that they are really passionate and commited to putting their words into action. Which means in this case Canvas definitely makes a Blind scholar's life very easy from a practical standpoint. I have used it for both community college and university for undergrad studying so if your colleague has more questions, do feel free to pass them on to me.

Have a great day, and take care.

Sincerely,

Humberto

Good morning,
I was contacted by a colleague asking whether the LMS Canvas could be used with a screen reader? I did find an accessibility statement in their blog<https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Accessibility/Accessibility-within-Canvas/ba-p/261501>, but we all know that practical experience is worth more than a thousand words...or blog posts...

Does anyone have first-hand experience or resources using Canvas with a screen reader for Windows?

Thanks so much,
Amy
