Hello Nik,
I don't know of any books to recommend but I have some notes you might want
to view. Below are links to a zip file and a link to a single document in
my OneDrive.
One of the files in the zip folder is "Word, MLA and APA Rules and Notes."
That file is set up in sections, and one of the sections covers creating a
template that conforms to MLA rules in Word. The various files contain
information that covers fonts to use, spacing, margins, citing sources,
differences between MLA and APA styles, etc. There is a Word template based
on version 7 of the MLA handbook, and a PDF file that covers MLA version 8
rules and requirements. I also included a link to a webpage where sample
templates can be downloaded, and there is a lot of good information on the
page dealing with the MLA style. The webpage has teaching materials
available as well. Hopefully, you can glean some tips and info from the
files that you can use.
The first link below should start the download of the MLA and APA info zip
file. The second link is a single file about APA standards and rules and
should start downloading the file when executed. The third link is to the
webpage mentioned above.

addition
Good morning all and a very happy Wednesday to everyone.
I hope you are all having a great December and are enjoying the new normal.
Quick questions, what is your preferred guide for supporting
JAWS/Fusion/ZoomText students needing to comply with APA standards 7th and
8th addition.
There is this book from Vital Source, but I am unsure of the level of
accessibility and don't feel like paying for it until I know, anyone got any
experience with this one:
https://www.vitalsource.com/products/publication-manual-of-the-american-psyc
hological-v9781433832185
Or there is this title from the National Braille press:
https://www.nbp.org/ic/nbp/WORD-FORMAT.html
It promises to "pay attention" to the APA and MLA standards, but does not
specify which version.
Any input or suggestions are happily received.
Take care and be well.
Kind regards, Nik.
